What you’ll be doing...

This position fully supports all aspects of Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting for all fixed asset related issues including:

  • Preparation of quarterly tax provision, SFAS109, SOX Controls documentation, and FIN48 reserves.
  • Preparation of 263A Capitalized Costs and other property related Schedule Ms.
  • Opportunity to be involved in high profile tax planning strategies via analysis of actual and proposed transactions in order to calculate tax impacts and conduct preliminary tax research in order to suggest ways to minimize such impacts.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience including considerable federal and state income tax preparation and tax accounting experience; Big 4 or large corporation.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, MST).
  • Knowledge of tax law in the area of capital recovery.
  • System experience in SAP/PS/Corptax/OneSource Provision/PowerTax.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office with knowledge of Excel.
  • Attention to detail; strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Knowledge of Excel Power Query, Alteryx, and Tableau.
