What you’ll be doing...

Customers rely on us for the best network, entertainment, and customer service. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating flawless launches of products, promotions, systems, processes, etc. You will lead end to end project management for the Consumer Go to Marketteam – from brief submissionthrough atwo weekpost-launch “warranty” period – focusing on delivering an exceptional customer and employee experience.
  • Create and maintain project plans and detailed end to end presentations, working with contacts from multiple organizations to ensure all applicable components are being tracked and updates are made in a timely manner. At any given point in time, a team member should be able to review your project plans/End to End (E2E) deck and have a complete understanding of project details and status.
  • Manage project team meetings and effectively lead discussions to build out full launch readiness plans – complete with key milestones, supportable launch date, customer experience tactics (marketing, communications, online resources, etc), employee experience tactics (training, communications, engagement, etc), launch support (war rooms, etc) and risks (including mitigation plans).
  • Track progression of project tactics and other action items, following up as needed with owners to secure updates. Understand, anticipate and respond with a sense of urgency to mitigate risks/solve problems. Collaborate with project team members, peers, and directors to develop creative solutions. Ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Coordinate launch day and post-launch support plans. This may include hosting “war room” bridges or chats, tracking issues identified through to completion, compiling executive level daily/weekly summaries, identifying and executing solutions to any problems, etc.
  • Maintain a constant focus on continuous improvement – remaining open to feedback, hosting retrospective meetings to identify opportunities/solutions, sharing best practices across teams, monitoring industry trends and applying knowledge to solve business problems, etc.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive, visually appealing, engaging, executive level presentations. Requires collaboration with multiple business units and an exceptional level of skill with Microsoft Powerpoint/Google Slides.

You’ll need to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of experience bringing new products/services to market.
Even better if you have:
  • A degree.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google G Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Verizon consumer channels, systems, and products/services.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (with all levels of management).
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently while delivering quality results, under significant time constraints from leadership.
  • Experience managing large amounts of data into meaningful, actionable summaries for executive presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience executingcreative solutions to complex business issues.
  • Experience building relationships across the organization and at all levels.
  • Experience navigating difficult conversations and effectively resolving conflict within a team.
