What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for creating and delivering on a comprehensive vision for the implementation of capital projects in the Illinois/Wisconsin network. These projects will include but not be limited to Macro Modifications, CP&G, and temporary deployments. You’ll be focusing on delivering cross-organization strategic initiatives while transforming the way people, businesses and systems/tools connect with each other. You will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to successfully coordinate the execution of regional project strategies, develop team members, manage vendors, and lead cross-functional teams that will continue to evolve our solutions strategies.

  • Coordinating and collaborating with RF, Real Estate, Network Assurance and System Performance to deliver all roadmap efforts.
  • Holding cross-organization teams accountable to delivery timelines and updating leadership on a regular basis to ensure the proper prioritization is given to project strategy execution.
  • Creating effective communication and collaboration vehicles to empower your team to have current and effective process value propositions and efficient ownership of their respective roles so they can effectively deliver to the other members of the implementation ecosystem.
  • Addressing and escalating field feedback accordingly to ensure effective prioritization and delivery of program work.
  • Prioritizing work based on the overall objectives of the sub-market/region while maintaining clear alignment with budgetary requirements.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA or MS.
  • Experience working within a direct report team structure.
  • Six or more years of project management experience.
  • Experience working with SAP SRM tools, e.g. SiteTracker.
  • Two or more years in an operations discipline.
  • Two or more years of construction experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful project management execution.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and flex with changing business needs.
  • Ability to conduct meetings, evaluate issues, provide solutions, and drive tight timelines.
  • Capability to utilize effective verbal and written communication and report presentation skills to present to leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Exceptional logic, quantitative and analytical skills.
