What you’ll be doing...

You will support the creation of learning solutions for the International Sales teams that ensure our employees can be their best here, where Better Matters. These programs will align with the business needs and culture of our organization. You will leverage technology and innovative tools to support the employees learning journey to build the Verizon of the future.

  • Primarily responsible for client engagement, facilitation, and project management; responsible to envision, strategize and partner in the development, management, and execution of programs that improve the customer experience, enhance employee engagement, drive growth, within business costs and budgets in a sales learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead cross functional /multi-channel learning solutions development, implementation and management of global projects locally
  • Deliver needed training programs for functional and general skill development as well as certify trainers to deliver complex training programs.
  • Partner with managers to assist internal clients to respond to employee development needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and learning & development to identify and translate business needs into learner centered training solutions and execution plans.
  • Influence the direction and outcome of global projects/programs to ensure that the customer experience, learner experience, business expectations and learning and development needs are met.
  • Communicate program / training effectiveness to leadership/stakeholders, utilizing various measurement and feedback tools
  • Deliver global training programs including customer interaction skills, management skills, products/services, operations, sales skills and systems training programs
  • Partners with development managers to ensure learning solutions are created to meet local cultural nuances
  • Facilitates large scale meetings, symposiums, workshops with cross functional employees enterprise wide

Requires minimal management direction and/or supervision, leads milestones, SME and manager reviews. Receives broad guidance and is accountable for entire projects and overall program results.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Sales, Marketing or L&D work experience required.

  • strong understand and application of sales methodology key to driving success in a Verizon environment

  • Position requires an average of 50% travel to deliver training, attend meetings, perform needs assessments, and attend Train-the-Trainer/Facilitator certifications.

  • Advanced consulting experience and ability to facilitate thought-provoking sessions at short notice.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive urgency and deliver on-time results.

  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills.

  • Proven decision making and client building relationships.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Even better to have:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and customize activities to ensure participant engagement and knowledge retention.

  • Travel will be global. PMP/Prince 2 Certification.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp technology and technical concepts.
