What you’ll be doing...

You will lead the organization responsible for the support of Corporate Accounts and Systems Integrators to drive excellence in solutions development, solutions selling, and opportunity closure through strategic engagement with assigned customer base to maximize sales efforts.

  • Drive technology sales activities and achieve sales quota booking and revenue attainment for the vertical assigned.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales Vertical Leaders ensuring alignment and execution of strategic goals.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with senior management and executive levels.
  • Motivate the organization to provide consistent, high quality technical support and to develop sales/service opportunities.
  • Participate in executive briefings and customer presentations.
  • Conduct periodic operations reviews with the management team to maintain a focus and cadence on excellence.
  • Demonstrate and encourage on-going performance coaching and execute on Development Plans or Performance Improvement Plans when necessary and in accordance with HR guidelines.
  • Meet and/or exceed objectives while identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase productivity.
  • Manage budget to 100% versus plan.
  • Provide timely market information, drivers and customer feedback to our partner organizations for product and technology positioning and enhancements.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • Ten or more years of experience in a variety of disciplines related to the selling of IT and managed telecommunications solutions.
  • Direct management experience of Managers of Individual Contributors, including workforce planning, coaching and managing performance for large teams.
  • Experience interfacing directly with Verizon Senior Leaders.
  • Ability to deliver effective customer presentations and prepare customer-facing material such as RFP responses, proactive proposals and network/system designs.
  • Experience with financial analysis, such as P&L, ROI, cost analysis, business case development, etc.
