What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Manager LTE in Rural America Production Support role is responsible for the leadership, oversight and coordination between Verizon Wireless departments and Lessees for all operational aspects including; technical issue resolution, KPI processes (enforcement, reporting, process administration, cause and corrective action planning, etc.), and IT/SIM/Device issues for our Lessees partners in the LTE in Rural America program.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of the Technical Operations Support team
  • Responsible for leading the Network and IT/SIM/Device lead roles in the group.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of the evolution of the LRA processes and support structure.
  • Development and adherence of SLA’s both internally and externally (if applicable)
  • Working with the appropriate internal Verizon teams (IT/Network/SIM/Device, etc.) as well as external vendors (Gemalto, Ericsson, Nokia, Device OEMs, etc.) as necessary as a point of escalation.
  • Work closely with Management and the Inter carrier Services Team (Domestic Roaming) to identify and work through issues, process improvements and program evolution.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including; Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience in the Wireless and/or Telecommunications space.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience in IT, RF or System Performance Network roles.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working on cross functional project planning and management concepts, methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures.
  • Technical and analytical skills.
  • SIM experience/knowledge.
  • LTE/GSM experience.
  • Results oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible.
  • Strong business knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience leading and managing a team.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and fosters teamwork.
