What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for growing our business through an established Strategic Alliance Partner that sits within our international indirect channel business. The position will involve executing focused activities to drive incremental business for Verizon through the partner across all solution tracks.

You'll bebuilding the sales pipeline and high value opportunities in order to drive revenue growth within the Partner.

Responsibilities in this role include:

Joint business development (solution selling) together with the sales personnel of our strategic alliance partner headquartered in Switzerland. Addressing a defined target list of both existing and acquisition/new logo multinational enterprise customers with our advanced SDN solutions portfolio. Representing Verizon in joint customer engagements with the partner in order to position ourselves as a trusted advisor and to enable the customer’s digital transformation strategy.

Partner Management of our long term strategic alliance relationship, driving funnel management and business expansion initiatives, coaching & supporting the partner's sales personnel and driving business opportunities through the sales lifecycle.

Serving as the sales team leader in Switzerland, coordinating funnel reviews, team meetings and driving growth as well as being the key day to day interface for sales matters between Verizon and our Strategic Partner.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in adopting a channel sales strategy and management of partner led opportunities within enterprise, multi-national accounts.
  • Experience of success in driving sustained sales results and leveraging operational and sales support for the partner, such as sales presentations, collateral, ROI models, training, certification and competitive comparisons.
  • Project management skills to set and drive successful completion of tasks and resolve conflict and challenges to meet desired timelines.
  • Willingness to travel within Switzerland as necessary.
  • Experience in dealing with C-Level contacts.
  • Experience in working collaboratively and with strategic partners and indirect channels to market.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in business or relevant.
  • Knowledge of Software Defined Networking, SD-WAN, Virtualization.
