What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Client Manager is responsible for achieving strategic performance objectives through their assigned national retail client. Act as single point of contact and decision maker for Verizon concerning National Retail client strategies including promos, marketing and Verizon branding.

  • Identify and design a strategy to leverage their distribution to drive sales, build a business plan then negotiate and execute contracts
  • Responsible for managing the contract between Verizon, vendors and clients to ensure compliance to the contacts and to identify opportunities within the contracts
  • Develop and manage the compensation structure to ensure it achieves performance results profitably
  • Develop and lead core teams of both internal and external parties to monitor and improve sales, drive customer experience, close process gaps, facilitate launches, handle merchandising changes, and increase profitability
  • Create, manage and execute sales initiatives, marketing strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Own, facilitate and reconcile all elements of accounting, budgeting, billing, collections, payments, inventory and compliance with regard to the National Retail client.
  • Develop and launch training initiatives from new hire to custom continuous education
  • Work with the operations team to develop, manage and execute merchandising strategy as it relates to promotion, service and new equipment launches

Provide detailed reporting and analysis on sales and KPI performance including analysis of sales initiatives and promotion performance.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or six or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Managerial/supervisor experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Retail experience or related knowledge of wireless industry.
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent decision-making, leadership and negotiation skills.

Even better if you have:

  • Retail operations and or merchandising experience.
  • Possess problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to create sophisticated design solutions to complex problems.
  • Act as a team player with high spirit and determination.
  • Results oriented and deadline driven.
  • Strong Presentation Skills; both senior management and cross functional teams.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
