What you’ll be doing...

This Principal Network Engineer role provides critical services to both internal and external customers. You’ll oversee lifecycle aspects of multiple service environments, acting as the owner for those systems. You’ll also understand and manage the interrelationships between the various products and the infrastructure systems.   • Provide Tier 3 technical support level for customer's Global network environment including but not limited to UCC incident identification, documentation, escalation and resolution;
  • Provide data network advanced technical support and direction to Tier 2 engineers in a Network Operation environment
  • Troubleshoot and configuring Cisco IPT (IP Telephony) solutions involving Call Managers, Unity, Unity Connection, Emergency Responder, Gateways H323, SIP, SBCs, Attendant Console, and routers and switches (LAN/WAN/Wireless environment).).
  • Provide Tier 3 support for highly escalated incidents
  • Responsible for projects related to customer security Vulnerabilities/Audit assessment.
  • Engage on customer’s network projects to provide inputs from Operations perspective.
  • Acts as Operations representative on the discussions related to new Verizon products to be launched.
  • Engage on the Bids process to review the technical requirements.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with converged/ integrated compute infrastructure systems.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience with converged/ integrated compute infrastructure systems, including requisite network knowledge with Cisco UCS.
  • ITIL Knowledge and/or certifications.
  • Strong customer service and support skills.
  • Strong written / verbal communication.
  • Contact Center solution (UCCE/UCCX) knowledge.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) “Collaboration” Certified.
