What we’re looking for...

As a part of the CSG Planning team we are looking for an individual who can work with the business community to deliver application solutions and operational support required to drive top business goals, acknowledge and resolve issues as per defined SLA, support the monthly change control and month end close activities, and perform root cause analysis on incidents as required.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in designing and developing application software using Hyperion Essbase and/or Hyperion Planning.
  • Oracle Essbase API and EAS Java API experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Knowledge of end user tools including Excel and Smart view.
  • Six or more years of software development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Rules and Calculations, Webforms, TaskList.
  • Five or more years of experience in multidimensional analysis, designing applications and databases, designing and building dimensions, loading data, calculating data and aggregation techniques.
  • Experience in functional/subject areas of financial accounting and headcount.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS.
  • Strong knowledge of UNIX shell scripting.
  • Strong knowledge with Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of drill to detail functionality.
  • Knowledge of both native security and Shared Services security.
  • Working knowledge of networks.
  • Working knowledge of software version control concepts and change management processes.
  • Working knowledge of automated job scheduling.
  • Experience with working multiple managed releases.
  • Experience operating in Waterfall (SDLC) and hybrid of Waterfall and Agile.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office productivity tools.
  • Ability to be a strong team player and detailed oriented, resourceful, motivated and creative.
