What you’ll be doing...

Foster high performing teams through personnel and team development, and by recruiting and retaining talent.

  • Attracting and retaining skilled individuals.
  • Establishing the mission and purpose for individuals and teams.
  • Performing career counseling and personal development.
  • Listening to and supporting teams for problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision-making.
  • Defining and administering compensation, benefits, and promotions.
  • Eliminating obstacles and evolving systems and practices to support Lean-Agile development.
  • Organizing team structure.
  • Evaluating performance, including team input.

Program Execution

  • Helping to build Agile Milestones and Roadmaps, as well as the plans that enable them.
  • Assisting with the development, implementation, and communication of the economic framework.
  • Ridding the teams of distractions and unnecessary work.
  • Building partnerships with customers, suppliers, consultants, partners, and internal and external stakeholders.


  • Working with Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) to establish and monitor Lean Budgets and implement Lean Governance.
  • Working with Release Train and Solution Train Engineers and stakeholders to help ensure alignment and execution of strategic themes.
  • Working with the System Architect/Engineer, Product Managers, and Product Owners to establish explicit content authority.
  • Continuously assisting with aligning teams to the system mission and vision.
  • Helping to ensure the engagement of Business Owners, Shared Services, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicating openly and honestly with all stakeholders.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Google Sheets, Slides, Drive, Calendar and Mail.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Jira.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Computer Science or a relevant field.
  • Master’s degree.
  • Five or more years of experience managing a team of IT professionals that lead to strong business results.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage and execute competing tasks and multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate status and achieve results.
  • Strong drive with the ability to communicate and coordinate with diverse talented teams.
  • Good skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Telecom, network technologies knowledge.
  • Applicable knowledge of the IT and network technologies used by the team.
  • Experience leading an IT software development team.
  • IT software development experience.
  • Experience playing the Scrum Master role for two or more years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theories.
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
  • Experience applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach.
