What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Manager will direct a team focused on supporting our Local, State and Federal government programs, with emphasis on Contract Compliance, E-rate, Bid Management, and Supplier Risk Management, among other emerging risks.

This leader will drive the strategy of his/her team, partnering with global cross functional teams to identify risks, analyze the current processes and controls, collaborate with key individuals to develop remediation plans, monitor implementation of remediation efforts, report on effectiveness and ensure sustainability of processes going forward.

The role will be part of the Operational Assurance team. The Senior Manager will partner with stakeholders across functional teams including CISO, Program Management, Legal, Sales, Operations and Audit to ensure processes and internal controls are in place to meet requirements imposed by government bodies, regulators, industry mandates, internal policies and customer contractual commitments.

Key objectives are as followed:

  • Manage cross functional program(s) to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives.
  • Work closely with global cross-functional teams to develop compliance vision, client and project risk assessments, implement opportunities, and recommendations regarding business and IT process optimization, profit improvement, internal control, and compliance.
  • Work with other stakeholders, such as internal audit to plan engagement strategy, define objectives, and address technology-related controls risks.
  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls.
  • Manage day to day employee needs (i.e., timesheets, scheduling, and vacation requests).
  • Complete all required performance documents and conduct associated performance discussions (performance agreement/objectives, mid-year review, and year-end review) by required deadlines.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of Federal, State and Local government agencies and processes experience.
  • Six or more years of risk and issue management.
  • Six or more years of governance and compliance experience.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Eligibilityto obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel.
