What you’ll be doing...

You'll be responsible for creating communications materials for the Managed Service Operations organization in the Verizon Business Group(VBG). Ability to effectively describe and promote through visual and written communication, the organization’s strategy and key messaging targeted to employees, executives, sales leaders, and other partner organizations within VBG, as well as external clients.

  • Create and produce communications materials, including but not limited to, presentations, news bulletins, organizational announcements and videos.
  • Develop slide ware and supporting material for Executive and Sales Operations Reviews
  • Define and communicate agendas for Weekly Staff Meetings, Leadership Calls and All Hands Calls. Coordinate guest speaker attendance and collection of materials. Disseminate key outcomes, decisions, and actions to relevant stakeholders, as required.
  • Facilitate Strategic Initiative updates from the leadership team and package for executive review on a regular weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cadence.
  • Manage the collection of input for Weekly Executive Highlights, then proofread, revise, refine and collaborate with Chief of Staff and Org Leader prior to executive submission.
  • Monitor social media campaign posts for Org Leader and create bulletins to release content to the organization.
  • Manage employee recognition programs such as Quarterly VP awards, Recognizing You, Executive Town Halls, and more.
  • Drive maximum organizational engagement in customer survey programs. Deliver messaging on results, trends, and identified action plans to facilitate a continuous improvement process.
  • Design organizational program logos.

You are an enthusiastic contributor who will promote a positive organizational image. You are a persuasive communicator, both orally and in writing, and can tailor a message to the desired audience for maximum impact. You can synthesize many ideas into one compelling message and have the ability to translate complex concepts into simplified, digestible messages.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project or program management experience.
  • Experience Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills.
  • Experience with Google Suite.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
  • Collaborated and influenced internal teams.
  • Graphics design experience.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
