What you’ll be doing...

You will provide leadership and support to oversee the gathering of technical requirements from Verizon’s key Suppliers, Network Engineering and Operations team to design kit configurations to drive savings and efficiencies to building our Network. Your role will involve leading cross functional discussions to obtain consensus across the organization to meet the unique build requirements while trying to standardize the process for the most effective launch of the newest technology.

  • Managing all functions of the team including print design review and approvals, scheduling, performance and time reporting.
  • Providing technical assistance and communicating technical information and status to customer service centers, technical support organizations and management teams.
  • Supplier management for quality performance and adherence to National Standards IP72202
  • Coaching and developing a team to have a sense of urgency in providing customer service, satisfaction and on time performance.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • An advanced degree in engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge with engineering & supply chain systems like CCP, PeopleSoft, COEP, iCON, STARS, vBuild.
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Two or more years of experience with telecommunications engineering.
  • Experience supervising union employees.
  • Ability to work dynamic environment and deliver exceptional service to demanding clientele.
  • Strong statistical and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with all Windows-Based Applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
