What you’ll be doing...

Work on ACL Automation for EDN fabric devices and edge devices. Lead work groups in developing the system in NSO/Pronghorn and testing on multiple platforms. Provide leadership in developing the customer portal and the automation of deploying the access control list to various platforms. Assist with inquiries from vendors and provide syntax information as required. Work alongside other internal automation teams to leverage existing code to reduce time to market.

Develop ACL using NSO ACL Manager and continue to reduce national and regional ACLs to save TCAM on devices. Support new projects for IMS/Volte, 5G, and other high profile initiatives required by the business.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience in IPv6 and various platforms for creating, debugging, and troubleshooting access control lists.
  • Experience with Python and other scripting languages.
  • Experience with NSO, Pronghorn, and ACL Manager.
  • Abilityto communicate with engineering teams, design teams, application owners, planning teams, and various operation stakeholders.
  • Lead in ACL definitions and make decisions on their own without management in order to make progress on new projects or resolve an outage situation.
  • Written and oral communication is important in conveying ideas up to executive directors.
