What you’ll be doing...

The Corporate Systems Group (CSG) has an opening for SQL Server andPostGreSQL Database Administrator; you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL and PostGreSQL systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and sustainment of the PostGreSQL, ensuring its operational readiness (security, health and performance), executing data loads, and performing data modeling in support of multiple development teams. The database supports an enterprise application suite of program management tools. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • SQL Server and PostgreSQL Database Administrator who can plan, coordinate, and administer database systems, mask databases, lead teams and projects, create documentation, gather requirements, and secure data.
  • Migrate database and applications to public cloud (AWS).

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the database administration.
  • Two or more years of experience with PostgreSQL 9.x , 10.x.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical filed.
  • Eight or more years of experience with SQL Server 2012 and later version.
  • Experience and knowledge of data masking.
  • SQL Server clustered environments.
  • Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with developing software at the data layer in a SQL Server database environment using PL/SQL. Experience with Informatia Test data management tools is preferred.
  • Develop data models and perform planning of architecture, functions, modules, recovery, standards and implementation.
  • Research and evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions for business issues.
  • Create ad-hoc reports utilizing various data sources.
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to lead complex projects.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality.
  • Experience in the design, maintenance, and administration of relational databases.
  • Experience and certification with AWS public cloud and AWS certification.
