What you’ll be doing...

Administrative support roles are critical to the success of every function at Verizon. In this role you will support a Verizon Network organization in various ways, including managing process improvements and providing executive support.   • Development, support and implementation of initiatives and improvement.
  • Communicate and work effectively with internal stake holders and multiple cross functional teams.
  • Create a positive work environment by motivating, recognizing and engaging employees through proper communication and equitable application of corporate, departmental and office policies and practices.
  • Consistently achieve desired business results by taking personal accountability, effectively organizing and planning work, setting priorities, and executing ambitious action plans.
  • Use innovative and creative thinking to get desired results.
  • Reduce customer complaints by identifying and resolving people, process and system issues.
  • Deliver initial/basic training to newly hired and existing employees to assure the timely and effective communication of required skill and knowledge.
  • Deliver continuation and/or additional or advanced training on new products, services and technologies to current employees so that they can adequately perform in a rapidly changing technological environment.
  • Monitor, document and evaluate associate performance to ensure that employees are meeting course objectives.
  • Administer training evaluation standards that support the pass/fail training courses.
  • Identify drivers and solutions to various issues.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience in data analytics.
  • Experience in collecting, analyzing, and identifying issues in data reports.
  • Experience in operational process improvement (identifying issues, tracking their root cause, and pursuing solutions).
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience creating presentations (through Powerpoint, Prezi, or other presentation programs).
  • Experience presenting to high level executives.
  • Experience in process and requirements documentation.
  • Experience with statistical theory for analyzing large datasets.
  • Strong with PowerPoint/Word/Excel.
  • Program management experience.
  • Ability to comprehend business needs and translate into technical requirements for queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and proven track record of utilizing insights from data to drive change.
  • Ability to develop and present executive level reports and presentations.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams across all levels of the organization to optimize business results.
  • Ability to be analytical, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and quick learner who can work independently, but also work effectively with internal and external team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and juggle multiple projects with ease.
