What you’ll be doing...

The position is responsible for implementation and infrastructure support for Cisco UCCE (Cisco ICM, Cisco CVP and Cisco Unified Communications Manager) in a 24X7 enterprise call center environment. This includes but not limited to hardware and software life cycle management, server implementation and maintenance, application level support and documentation of the supported environment.

  • Responsible for adhering to established systems standards and procedures.
  • Works effectively within the team to complete assigned moves, adds, and changes within approved change windows.
  • Actively participate in assigned project teams and produce high quality deliverables in a timely fashion.
  • Provide second level support for Operation team and quickly respond to outages to minimize downtime to customer impacting, mission critical systems.
  • Proactively communicates status reports and issues to manager.
  • Successfully completes all relevant general and technical training programs in accordance with Performance Agreement goals and objectives.

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

  • PC and desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.)
  • Knowledge of information systems concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures.

  • Ability to make decisions.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and deploy new servers running various operating systems.
  • Ability to remotely manage large server environments while adhering to best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and participate in multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely, efficient manner, prioritize tasks and be deadline oriented
  • Certification: Microsoft and/or VMware certification.
