What you’ll be doing...

As a Manager in the Strategic Sales organization be responsible for managing key strategic and ZBB initiatives, as well as the completion of daily operational tasks for our Agent and National Retail partners. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with cross functional groups to understand Unlocked/BYOD strategy as well as other key growth segments for Verizon
  • Consult with internal teams to understand roadblocks to participation in Unlocked/BYOD and other key growth segments
  • Source, analyze, and leverage sales data to understand results and develop effective initiatives from these insights; prepare business cases and ROI analyses for all initiatives
  • Create project portfolio to overcome barrier to entry for Unlocked device strategy in Agent and National Retail Partners
  • Improve customer experience by evaluating, improving, and simplifying processes of both Verizon and Agent partner to increase sales and profitability
  • Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external cross-functional teams, including Care, CORe, SMB, Prepaid, Finance, Commissions, Marketing, Operations and IT
  • Leverage segmentation and propensity models to identify markets with the highest potential for product & revenue growth
  • Use industry knowledge to interpret competitive information, draw intelligent conclusions, provide strategic and tactical evaluations and formulate recommendations
  • Represent the Indirect Business team for projects, pricing refreshes, and policy changes
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives for Indirect Team
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, impact analysis, communications, business readiness, deployment, and adoption measurement
  • Work with finance and ZBB package teams to support Indirect initiatives, as well as provide business, and analytical in sights
  • Present results and initiatives to leadership and partners for approval and implementation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Results-driven individual with passion and motivation for success
  • Exceptional ability to source and analyze data
  • Proficient problem solver with exceptional organizational and stakeholder management proficiencies
  • Exceptional project management, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple projects
  • Proficient in developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and transformational projects
  • Education: BA/BS Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
