What you’ll be doing...

If you are curious about new could technology and the possibilities it creates, then this job may be perfect for you. As part of the Product Development Dev ops team, you will be supporting the infrastructure cloud platform that runs a mobile back application.
  • Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure for Production, QA, and Dev environments.
  • Participate in release discussions with development and vendor teams.
  • Capture TCP dumps and analyzing logs of a micro-services application deployed in container orchestration cluster.
  • Participate in the ongoing design, implementation, and maintenance of systems and tools across our cloud stack.
  • Work closely with Development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end quality.
  • Write and maintain infrastructure documentation.
  • Handle monitoring automation; make sure that the correct monitors are deployed at the application level so that any failures can be quickly detected and repaired.
  • Work closely with the development teams to provide high quality, highly available, and dynamic solutions.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four of more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience as a DevOps engineer in the enterprise cloud.
  • Knowledge of Linux systems.
Even better if you have:
  • A degree.
  • Four or more years of experience as a DevOps engineer in the enterprise cloud.
  • Experience with container systems (Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. DCOS, Kubernetes).
  • Broad architectural awareness of customer applications with the ability to triage issues in an end-to-end manner, aware of how web, application, and caching tiers impact database performance and availability.
  • Experience with code repositories (Git), continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Maven or Gradle).
  • Strong professional experience automating AWS configuration, build and deployments using Ansible, CloudFormation, OpsWorks or other equivalents.
  • Experience designing and maintaining reliable, high-availability production systems and services.
  • Knowledge in middleware and System Engineering Linux, Networking, Tomcat, APACHE, MQ.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, Layer 3 and Layer 7 load balancing, etc.).
  • Capability to be an excellent and creative problem solver.
  • Strong scripting experience in one of the following; Python (preferred), PowerShell, Bash.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Familiarity with any of the open source Redis, Memcache, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Hadoop, Cassandra or MySQL.
