What you’ll be doing...

At 140, Verizon’s in-house agency, you will be part of the energy that’s evolving the brand to become a leading technology player. This role will support the activities of Verizon’s in-house agency. They will be responsible for managing efficient day-to-day team activities. This includes daily administrative tasks, onboarding new team members, weekly and monthly reporting and analysis, and various ad hoc tasks needed by the team. Responsibilities include:

  • Support the various functions of the agency, including but not limited to onboarding, asset management and tracking, employee and contractor system maintenance, and job postings.
  • Owns the end-to-end onboarding of contractors and new hires, partnering with HR, IT, and the internal team to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Is responsible for weekly and monthly status reports on headcount, agency asset tracking, and various ad hoc reports and metrics.
  • Executes on and improves upon processes to increase effectiveness and efficiencies. Identifies, recommends and implements automation strategies to replace manual tasks.
  • Prepares reporting and metrics dashboards related to time-tracking, quantity and status of projects, team capacity and effectiveness, tiering, cycle times, expense budgets and other relevant data.
  • Serves as an analytic generalist to support data queries from internal team members and clients.
  • Serves as owner for internal time tracking, includes analyzing, designing, and managing enhancement requests.
  • Leverages technology to gain efficiencies and improves communications within the team and with clients.
  • Facilitates maintenance of complete, centralized records of all comments and approval at the job level, for tracking and filing purposes, as well as the ability to pull past jobs for reference, auditors and/or other legal/business review needs.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience working within an in-house creative services group or external advertising agency in a management and/or support role.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Workfront.
  • Experience with automated workflow tools preferred and DAM systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Time management, project management, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with ability for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the creative process—print, digital, video and production capabilities.
  • Ability to workswell in collaborative creative environments, ability to work independently; self-reliant.
  • Proactive, decisive and adept at crisis management.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams/efforts, ability to influence others and effective in developing team members.
  • Ability to analyze quantitative and/or qualitative data.
  • Customer service ethic.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to be flexible to project needs; availability to work long days and weekends as needed.
