What you’ll be doing...

The Corporate Systems Group (CSG) has an opening for a Data Steward Manager. This role will manage and lead projects to support emerging business needs.

  • Plan and complete special projects and ad-hoc analysis, as requested.
  • Oversee delivery of business training for implemented process and/or system changes including development of training plan and training material, scheduling and delivery.
  • Execute post-mortem assessment on projects to drive continuous improvement and build into Data Stewardship best practices.
  • Oversee User Acceptance Testing process including development of test plan, cases & scripts, test execution and defect remediation.
  • Identify & develop business process & system improvement opportunities, as it relates to the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) data domain in collaboration with Corporate, Business Unit and/or FP&A Center of Excellence teams. Develop/Validate finalized work plan for the implementation of process and system improvements and socialize it with the business.
  • Partner with technical & business teams to develop data standards. Advance the adoption of data standards and agreed upon data management processes with the business.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for governance and quality issues as it relates to the FP&A data domain.
  • Work closely with Business Data Stewards, TMO, Finance Data Governance Office, Business Stakeholders and IT to ensure compliance with business policies, rules & definitions and maximize data quality of FP&A domain for assigned area financial platforms.
  • Ensure the enterprise-wide data integrity, quality & usage and the realization of the business value of FP&A owned data assets in assigned financial platforms.
  • Oversee and mature the development of Data Stewardship processes to support emerging business needs.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Finance, General Ledger and/or Financial Reporting.

Even Better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in general Accounting, Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, IT, Project Management and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications: CPA, Six Sigma, CDMP, and/or PMP.
  • Experience with data management fundamentals (data profiling, improvement, accuracy, completeness, data integrity, data stewardship, and data governance).
  • Knowledge in SAP/PeopleSoft ERP and/or the usage of Oracle DRM, Collibra, Essbase, Smart View, Hyperion Planning, and Hyperion Strategic Finance.
  • Ability to interface with various/complex stakeholder groups, functions and senior level management across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently in a challenging environment.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (verbal & written).
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Google Products (e.g. Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides).
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 10% of the time.
