What you’ll be doing...

Join our Information Technology team where you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers’ needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. You will work on a diverse range of complex problems and regularly lead multiple, technically complex, large-scale projects.

This position will be working in the Network Technology & IT organization and will be working closely and partnering with Network Planning, Engineering and process organizations to drive the Technology solutions. The position is required to lead critical business deliverables in the Fiber Inventory Management System. The system manages the fiber inventory, engineering design, build, consumption and reporting functions and plays a critical role in One Fiber, 5G and iEN programs in the company.

Responsibilities include

  • Design, Architect and develop software programs to implement the Network and Communication functionality
  • Work as GIS Subject matter Expert and help Users as well as Team with design and development activities.
  • Work with Business, Process and Architecture teams to analyze the requirements, convert the business and technical requirements to Software design.
  • Lead the development team to design, develop and implement network solutions and Web GIS applications.
  • Coordinate with different groups to implement the solutions end to end for production.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Software development experience in a diverse set of areas including scalable windows and web applications, C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript.
  • Experience in Geospatial technology, Geospatial analytics, knowledge of current industry landscape, and proven track record in hands on delivery – ArcGIS related framework.
  • Experience in Data Bases – Oracle, Oracle Spatial, SQLServer, PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge and implementation experience of DevOps tools and technologies including Jira, Jenkins, Stash, GIT and Confluence.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Knowledge of server technologies (Linux, Windows), System Administration and scripting languages (Python, Perl).
  • Ability to manage distributed delivery teams across various stakeholders.
  • Project management experience including waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Effective communication, organization, and decision making skills.
  • Good analytical, research and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact with executives and senior leaders, to communicate complex concepts.
