What you’ll be doing...

This position has the option to sit in Rolling Meadows, IL or Alpharetta, GA.

This position is responsible for performing the development and analysis of performance reports, including KPIs, customer and employee base and other key metrics to senior leadership, markets and HQ in support of the Business Finance Operations strategic goals.

  • The position partners with leadership to understand and develop action plans to improve performance and resolve business issues that are diverse in scope and cross multiple organizations.
  • Provide primary support in development of new reports in addition to performing daily, weekly and monthly reporting and analysis of customer data and performance metrics.
  • Develops predictive models, performs data mining and decision support activities. Perform productivity assessments, what if scenarios, and related analysis (results, profiling, &modeling activities) in support of strategic and tactical program planning.
  • Acts independently to provide subject matter expertise across multiple large-scale, highly complex initiatives.
  • Responsible for validating and implementing reliable and efficient automated solutions to support complex reporting requirements.
  • Partners with senior leadership to extract data from multiple sources to support the development and execution of projects and initiative.
  • Ensure integrity of data (within database and reports). Investigate and resolve errors or inconsistencies in the data sources. Troubleshoot and make recommendations to resolve internal customer issues that impede the efficient and effective use of the provided tool(s).
  • Provide program support for strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Evaluate, track and prioritize requests for data, including providing leaders insight and guidance on the risks and gaps identified while compiling data and subsequent analysis.
  • Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships in order to advance strategic initiatives
  • Perform regular presentations to senior leadership team to provide status updates
  • Complete process mapping diagrams to identify areas for process improvement
  • Manage contractors towards strategic goals and timelines
  • Periodically perform productivity and FTL assessments, including what if scenarios.
  • Partner with leaders to identify performance, process and system opportunities and perform subsequent analysis to determine ROI.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years reporting and analysis and/or database management work experience
  • At least 3+ years of experience creating/editing SQL from UDM and Oracle DB
  • Comprehensive experience with Teredata as well as experience with customer and order tables in the warehouse
  • Advanced Excel skills with building reports and connecting to various data sources
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google G Suite

Even better if you have:

  • A Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an analytical function with statistical development, interpretation and analysis, and quantitative reporting and analysis
  • MS SQL Server 2008 or newer (SSIS, TSQL, SSAS and SSRS)
  • Tableau experience a plus
  • Forecasting call center volume a plus
  • Experience in the technology and/or telecommunications industry
  • Experience in costing/profitability methodologies and processes
  • Knowledge of common business and cost drivers and deep-dive analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to focus on the details
