What you’ll be doing...

As a Senior Technical Project Manager you will join a global, cross functional team responsible for wireless and wireline portfolios for the new Business-Ready Verizon. We have a customer-first mindset, supporting all of our Enterprise, Wholesale, Business Markets and Public Sector customers through efficiencies, speed and innovation. You will work collaboratively across the enterprise to drive execution and deliver on commitments. You will work in the area of compliance and security for over 400 applications. You will take a leadership role in managing the global clearance priorities and large legal projects.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules and calendars.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, team meetings; providing meeting minutes and actions.
  • Build strong communication channels and interface with internal/external stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Synthesize information from a variety of internal and external sources to achieve the right outcomes.
  • Support enterprise wide initiatives to reduce costs and transform how we work, including process design and project execution.
  • Lead development of effective key project performance indicators to show the value creation and execution against our strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and automation, enhance the user experience and increase adoption.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in implementing technology solutions using Agile methodologies in a high-tech environment with multi-function teams.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience with program/project management methodology and leading cross-functional team discussions.
  • Experience in managing programs/projects on a global scale.
  • Knowledge of Jira/Confluence.
  • Experience in security, compliance, audit, and/or legal.
  • Knowledge of GSuite.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to work across diverse audiences and demonstrate independent thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience communicating complex information to nontechnical audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset to establish and maintain a productive working relationship with key stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to be a strong facilitator and lead cross-functional team meetings to resolve issues and align on approach.
  • Ability to analyze situations and develop alternative approaches to addressing issues, recommend solutions and lead project implementation.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to embrace change a work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
