What you’ll be doing...


  • Employee will set strategy, objectives, roles and responsibilities for a team of 5-7 professionals charged with driving success of the security portfolio across various vertical segments. In doing so, employee will need to develop successful relationships with cross-functional groups including product, sales, sales operations, learning and development, etc. and demonstrate an advanced capability of managing complex, interrelated work streams and priorities.
  • Employee will be expected to lead all efforts across the security product portfolio around developing a framework for gathering data, interpreting results and providing continuous improvement feedback related to our sales team successes and failures in the market. This requires building close relationships with the sales teams, eliciting constructive input and discerning key lessons learned that can be applied to trainings, communications, collateral, etc. to improve the effectiveness of our sales activities.
  • Lead a team responsible for aspects related to cyber security product marketing including
    • Development of customer and internal collateral (customer presentations, Solution Briefs, FAQs, infographics, etc.), competitive analyses, training curriculum.
    • Customer segmentation, buyer journey and propensity models to more effectively position.
    • Win/loss analysis, proposal development, sales pipeline review, customer meeting support, activity reporting, etc.
    • Use cases and customer references for the assigned solution set.
  • Serve as the marketing lead working closely with sales, sales operations and learning and development to set the strategy, curriculum and implementation of security sales training.
  • Serve as the primary interface and security marketing key point of contact to product development, sales and sales operations in setting priorities for voice of the customer feedback and summary, competitive intelligence, product launch prioritization, bundling strategies, etc
  • Champion internal awareness for the security solution set by contributing to or delivering executive briefings and all hands meetings and content for newsletters and other communiqués.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience leading a team of professionals in the launch and marketing management of a complex product portfolio.
  • Experience with cyber security market either from the technology or service provider perspective.
  • Experience in designing and executing market and customer analysis and then applying the information gained to drive the development of effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience building cross-functional relationships with technical and sales teams to achieve sales/revenue objectives.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Ten or more years’ work experience in a marketing of technology products or services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Strong problem solver.
  • Positive, energetic, creative thinker. Customer-oriented/Self-starter. Able to communicate effectively with peers and leaders and provide recommendations and direct feedback.
