What you’ll be doing...

Position summary

Enable Verizon India to play an integral part in the overall transformational efforts across many functional disciplines through consistent alignment & direction on priorities / approach towards Business, Technology & People areas. Responsible for VERIZON INDIA’s Strategy and Business Transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Drive the overall strategy related to propelling Verizon India to the next gear

• Establish Clear Charters & Tracking Mechanism for initiatives aligned to Verizon India Vision and Key Levers /programs related to Operating Model, Resource Management Group, Change Management, Talent Transformation, Managing Ecosystem ( including Start Ups)

• Manage the Program Management office for GTS Transformation initiatives establishing clear focus areas with respect to Delivery & Support functions
•Support Head of Business operations on key strategic/transformational initiatives by providing business acumen and programmatic approach
•Accountable for driving cross-functional collaboration at various levels within the center by driving key programs
•Being the Engagement Leader in driving key initiatives involving research/consultancy firms and bring in best processes from industry in managing the technology centers
•Responsible for building business cases for various initiative/ engagements that create impact and present them to respective stakeholders
•Leading efforts related to implementing process transformation◦Experience in implementing Process streamlining and optimization programs right from diagnosing current state to designing the future state using a comprehensive framework
◦Experience in change management process

• Exposure to Finance Model and Governance for portfolios across Verizon India including Budget/Resource Management and cost optimization.

What we’re looking for...

Qualification Required

•PG - MBA ( Required)
•Must have 12+ years of work experience
•Excellent leadership , general management, Finance management, Change Management & Business Transformation skills
•Management Consulting experience preferred
•Telecom domain/industry exposure preferred
•Adept in managing relationships & the ability to manage/work across cross location/cultural teams
•Experienced with standards and procedures
•Excellent communication and inter- personal skills
