What you’ll be doing...

You’ll support Verizon’s award-winning Global Learning and Development Team in an Operations role. As a Sr.Analyst, you will care for a variety of responsibilities ranging from Learning Experience Planning and Coordination (for our instructor-led sessions) to Learning Facilities and Equipment Solutions (classroom spaces, labs, kits, audio-visual solutions, devices). The ideal candidate will be a role model of operational excellence and have a passion for effective learning that results in a positive impact on our business and society.

Key responsibilities include:

Learning Experience Planning and Coordination

  • Manage class volumes and map out class sessions
  • Resource plan trainers and learners
  • Organize and process invoicing for internal and external room bookings and order/purchase the needed equipment/devices, classroom materials, supplies, catering, furniture.
  • Communicate class session invitations and information to invited learners
  • Source external venue needs inclusive of learning space and overnight rooms needed for trainers and learners aligned with program budgets
  • Provide on-the-ground and virtual support during class events (travel up to 25%)
  • Learning Management System administration

Learning Facilities and Equipment

  • Support project management of learning space remodels/upgrades/maintenance with projects ranging from small, medium to large scale
  • Lead physical processing, inventory tracking, and shipping of learning equipment
  • Funnel and project manage requests/needs
  • Assess current state and priority of needs including site visits to classroom facilities
  • Organize purchasing of learning equipment aligned with departmental budget allowances
  • Lead data analysis, forecasting and demand planning by optimizing the use of resources
  • Nurture relationships and manage stakeholders/business partners to execute solutions
  • Provide clear requirements/expectations to and oversight of vendor services (i.e., classroom technology upgrade)

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • At least three years experience in an Operations or Training role

Even better if you have:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Project management skills with proven ability to lead multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and deliverables with quality and knowledge of process design principles (i.e., Six Sigma)
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team with a high level of autonomy
  • Experience with inventory management, facilities management, or logistics management
  • Experience organizing events preferred.
  • Experience with digital learning solutions (i.e., video, virtual reality)
  • Proficiency with Office Suite and G-suite products (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Visio, etc.)
