What you’ll be doing...

Manage a team of in depth technical experts in the design, development and configuration of Cognitive/Natural Language Processing (NLP) use cases per business process and requirements documentation. Ensure quality of code by performing thorough testing. Create solution design documentation aligning with business requirements and stakeholders. Develop reusable components and framework for efficiency.

  • Define corporate policies and standards to ensure Legal, Security, and Audit compliance for implementation of Emerging Tech, such as Contract Digitization, Blockchain, Chatbot, Natural Language Generation (NLG), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and other cognitive technologies.
  • Develop tools and processes to ensure compliance, while streamlining the implementation life cycle of emerging tech solutions.
  • Partner with Enterprise ET teams, to track progress and eliminate impediments to expedient implementation.
  • Responsibility and decision authority focused comprehensively on the execution, delivery, and ongoing support of these projects.
  • Responsible for day to day activity of Verizon employees and oversight of third party vendor resources.
  • Assist and partner with IT, vendors, and business partners on infrastructure reviews and decisions
  • Work with stakeholder community to promote compliance with standards, guidelines, leading practices, security, and risk management in accordance with guidelines and processes.
  • Forecast financial, physical, and human resource needs to meet established objectives.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in a management role with ability to manage and status multiple concurrent projects and deliverables.
  • Experience deploying solutions with cutting-edge tools such as Contract Digitization, Chatbots, Blockchain, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Generation (NLG) and advanced analytics.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Computer Science/Information Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Financial systems and accounting principles.
  • Experience managing onshore & offshore teams of ten or more resources.
  • Ability to perform in a high volume fast paced changing environment with good time management skills and the ability to work independently, accurately, and with a high degree of organization.
  • Excellent Google Application skills with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into visual presentations suitable for executive consumption.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact with team members and internal customers.
  • Experience in Agile project facilitation, delivery, SCRUM role, as well as SDLC.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
