This position requires an experienced QA professional with extensive experience in leading a big team technically in the Platform and Mobile App Domain. He/she should have hands-on experience in successfully validating and deploying products in the market. A thorough understanding of Mobile App and Platform is a mandatory. Apart from leading a team, the responsibilities will also include interacting with other functional team like Development, Product Management, Architecture and deployment team.

Responsibilities:

  • End to end responsibility of ensuring the product meets the industry standard quality.
  • Work closely with the Business Analysts and Developers to review requirements and system designs and plan for functional, automated, performance and security testing.
  • Liaise with the product deployment team for all field and support queries.
  • Liaise with audit team and ensure product meets compliance and security standards.
  • Lead, train, and coach other QA team members.
  • Design and automate QA tests, for use by QA and development staff. This may include:
    • Web service testing
    • Web service virtualization
    • Unit testing
    • Database testing
    • Web testing
    • Load Testing

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of managing R&D teams with five or more people.
  • Experience in building QA frameworks to support Automation of Continuous Integration
  • Functional / Regression testing
  • Experience in Dev-OPS.
  • Experience in managing a project independently.
  • Experience in managing third party vendors.
  • Strong communication, organization, and decision making skills.
  • Experience in evaluating and developing performance test beds.
  • Ensure that the product is compliant to all required security and quality standards.
  • Excellent Debugging Skills.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Eight or more experience of Validating Platforms on Cloud environments.
  • Eight or more experience in Validating Android and IOS Apps.
  • Excellent verbal & communication skills.
  • Experience in leading a team technically.
  • Self-motivated and driven about latest technology trends.
  • Ability to hire, motivate, retain and develop talent.
  • Experience in these Technologies
    • Mobile: iOS, Android
    • Coding languages: Java, Python
    • Web technologies: HTML, JavaScript
    • Web services: SOAP, REST/JSON
    • Database: Cassandra, Oracle, MySQL
    • Platform: Micro Services
    • Operational Tools: Splunk, AppDynamics
    • Code Management: Jenkins
    • Automation: Selenium, Service Virtualization, Python, Appium
