What you’ll be doing...


  • Issue Purchase Orders for Departments (e.g. Implementation, Construction, and Engineering) upon request.
  • Dispatch when approved and distribute to Buyer and forward to Vendor.
  • Electronically receive all PO line items at the request of all Regional Buyers. Determine deficiencies in POs that are not clearing reports and assist Buyers with corrections, etc.

Vendor Management

  • Reconcile Vendor Statements.
  • Assist Vendors with errors in payments
  • Vendor Maintenance Requests for new vendors in PeopleSoft, address changes, etc.

Invoice Processing

  • Pushing out dates for Open Commitments.
  • Assist Buyers with PeopleSoft issues. Instructing them regarding proper Item Ids, etc.
  • Training new users on proper usage and navigating through PeopleSoft.
  • Routing Log and Scanning prior to sending invoices to AP
  • Working in conjunction with E-payables to rectify errors in Ariba
  • Working with AP-PO Issue Resolution Team to resolve items they processed incorrectly.
  • Check Requests processed on to AP
  • Clean up the Received Not Paid Report by working with Buyers and AP to determine cause for delays and following through.
  • Clear Match Exception Report

Purchasing Support

  • Working with Network Support to request Receipt Modifications, Buyers errors, etc.
  • Generally assisting the Operations Department with purchasing and processing invoices.

What we’re looking for...

Ability to work with a variety of teams within the local region and territory teams as well as outside vendors. This person needs to be detail oriented in order to ensure the accuracy of purchase orders and invoicing. Ability to meet daily goals and deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience in network purchasing.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline.
