What you’ll be doing...

This position provides a unique opportunity to define the sales enablement content strategy for the Verizon Business Group. In this role, you would be leading and managing a broader team of direct reports to plan and strategize a full year funnel of work according to agency retainer and scope. The role spans a variety of project types, including but not limited to products, solutions, devices, pricing, promotions, campaigns, and thought leadership content. Success in this role requires a strong background in project and agency management. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ability to lead, communicate with and inspire holistic Marcom team of creative and marketing professionals. Senior Manager will need to provide clear process, briefings, creative assignments, constructive feedback and criteria for success.
  • Build effective and efficient financial management for Marcom business to show positive ROI for consolidated LOA and OOP budgets. Identify areas to improve project management and process for economies of scale with Agency and production.
  • Requires detailed understanding of LOA metrics, project scoping, scope creep, and the ability to reduce agency churn and demonstrate how the unified team is maximizing allocated budgets.
  • Development and implementation of a holistic Sales Enablement strategic plan for our newly unified Verizon Business Group with customized marcom strategies for all segments, verticals, and target personas
  • Leverage new media opportunities, existing products, provider partnerships and OEMs
  • Build systems to enable the organization to work efficiently within planned LOAs and agency partners implement standardized project financial tracking for LOA and OOP budgets
  • Understand current and emerging sales and marketing automation systems and work with cross-LOB teams to deliver a unified system strategy that streamlines the customer experience and simplifies the sales process for reps.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Marketing experience, with specialization in media, creative, and brand
  • Tool experience includes Marketing Builder, Brand Central, and Salesforce.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree
  • Written, presentation, creative, strategic thinking, analytical, and relationship management skills.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, presentation, oral, written communication, and negotiation skills; as candidate will interact with a variety of management levels.
  • Development and delivery of executive communications.
  • Ability at engaging and influencing large teams and functional leaders.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under dynamic environments to deliver results by critical deadlines.
  • Ability to show initiative, anticipates and prepares for upcoming situations, takes advantage of opportunities, acts quickly and decisively, addresses issues before they become problematic.
