What you’ll be doing...

This sales enablement position acts as the primary liaison for all training initiatives related to 13,000 National Retailer & Agent doors, 900+ VZ field employees and 70+ HQ Indirect team members and ensures all projects align to our overarching business strategies.

  • Drive KPI performance through continued education, increasing Verizon mind-share, and improving knowledge & awareness of product / service offerings, initiatives, and policies & procedures

  • Develop strategies and align resources on end to end training support of various sales and customer experience programs, such as new hire training, new Agent on-boarding, and train the trainer certifications

  • Lead Indirect training requirements and development needed to support the successful launch of 5G through our Agents, NR and Door to Door vendors

  • Maintain strong working relationships with external partners (NR, Agents, 3rd Party Labor vendors) and internal partners (L&D, Account teams, Markets, Legal)

  • Establish & cultivate strategies related to personal and professional development of our HQ National Distribution team

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and entrepreneurial qualities

  • Model outstanding management and leadership characteristics and demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly while embracing change

  • Creative thinking and problem solving to deliver quality results

  • Work independently and effectively with minimal supervision while making sound recommendations

  • Confident decision making which directly impacts the success of our organization

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Project management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant work experience

  • Six or more years of work experience

Even better if you have:

  • Strong PC skills - Excel, Outlook, MS Word, etc.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a highly demanding, team-oriented and fast paced environment

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely while interacting with all levels of internal & external customers

  • Proven success with delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive timelines

  • Ability to motivate others to exceed objectives

  • Proven ability to create effective short and long term strategies

  • Working knowledge of the Adobe suite, including ability to create and edit videos

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills

  • Ability to be results oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and are proactive and flexible

  • Ability to think strategically and analytically

  • A Master’s degree
