What you’ll be doing...

The Program Operations team works as an internal service function within the GTS Verizon Consumer Group (GTS VCG). This team is responsible for the GTS VCG-wide project management framework and the internal optimization of the VCG structures. The open position is responsible for the coordination and management of a consistent program and project communication, internal financials and budgeting & forecasting process and program performance score cards and value assurance.

This team will have ownership of the following deliverables:

  • Financial and Budget Management including SOW T&M and PO processing.
  • Program Management including executive briefings, executive decks, balanced score cards and business case review.
  • Business Operations including staffing and vendor management.
  • Responsibility for the GTS VCG-wide financials, budgeting and forecasting process (e.g. budgeting development/alignment within the GTS VCG groups, compile monthly departmental and project forecasts, project modeling, accruals).
  • Flexibility and collaborative work approach to solve complex problems and to develop customer-specific solutions, taking into account multiple internal and external stakeholder groups and different level of stakeholder groups (e.g. Top-Management) with various/changing stakeholder demands/requirements and intersections (e.g. IT, Finance, FP&A, Top-management level etc).
  • ITMS (IT Managed Service) representation for GTS VCG Vendor performance, spend and budget management.
  • CSG-wide responsibility for the vendor and SOW management (e.g. requirements definition, on/off-boarding, coordination).

What we’re looking for...

This resource should be able to liaison with Finance team for budget forecasting, actual and project modeling.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • SOW Lifecycle Governance, Yearly Budget Cycle.

Even better if you have:

  • BA/BS in Communication, Adult Learning/Training, Finance, Project Management.
  • Six or more years of relevantexperience with a strong program management.
  • Training or communication certification or proven track record.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interface with various/complex stakeholder groups & functions as well as senior level management.
  • Compliance to Verizon-wide policies and procedures.
