What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is investing in its network to improve the way we live, work, and communicate. Our network transformation will be critical for all our future connectivity business endeavors including new products such as One Fiber, 5G, and future smart cities. At the forefront of this effort is the Network Operations team and their support staff. A proactive staff who perform various administrative tasks including but not limited to scheduling, reporting and project tracking.

As a member of the staff, you will support the area Sr Manager and interface with directors, project managers, vendors, dispatch centers, and field personnel.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the daily governance of KPI’s utilizing various reports, such as metrics data and observations.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure gaps, performances, and use of data for efficiency purposes.
  • Building and maintaining excellent communication and relationships with several cross-functional teams
  • Able to prioritize, execute, or provide clarification or explanation of changes, goals and other duties.

*Can sit in any regional office of South Central & Southeast Field Operations.

You’re analytical, organized, and detail oriented. A self-starter and quick learner who can work independently, but you’re also great to have on a team. You’re no stranger to a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines, and you adapt to changing priorities and juggle multiple projects with ease. You take a lot of pride in your work, and that’s why people count on you to deliver.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.


Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience with using statistical packages such as SPSS for analyzing large datasets.
  • Program management experience.
  • Proven experience in process and requirements documentation.
  • Proficient at PC and software applications including Windows and MS Office,and the Google Suite applications
  • Experience in performing trend analysis on numerous metrics and establishing process improvement.
  • Experience in statistical analysis of workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Ability to develop and present executive level reports and presentations.
