This team is made up of passionate UX professionals with experience in UX design, visual design, industrial design, research & usability testing.

  • Lead definition & design for VZC’s hardware and device offerings.
  • Manage effectively your own projects by creating work plans, timelines and regular communicating to broader organization.
  • Lead with both generative and formative design process and able to select appropriate design methods to apply to a particular business challenges.
  • Lead through facilitating workshops, ideation, brainstorming, and creative jams.
  • Challenge the status quo and use design thinking for innovative, out of the box solutions.
  • Clear and crisp communication style. Adapt your design communication based on matrixed organization and variety of stakeholder desires and agendas.
  • Develop strong design rationale based on user, customer, brand, and business objectives. Communicate throughout the design life cycle to seek alignment.
  • Lead executive presentations that communicate a compelling narrative/story.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to present portfolio.
  • Project Management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or in a related filed.
  • Eight or more years of experience as an industrial designer.
  • Excellent sketching & visualization; eye for color, material & finish, rapid prototyping.
  • CAD, 3D digital surface models of high complexity and sophistication that are both aesthetically accurate and technically robust.
  • Experience ine.g. Solidworks, Rhino, Keyshot, Adobe, Autodesk or in related tools.
  • Design with strong aesthetic sense, manifests a brands tone and personality.
  • Design for Mechanicals & Manufacturability.
  • Design for known mechanical and electrical constraints for connected devices.
  • Design for known high and low volume manufacturing constraints, specifying materials, construction, mechanisms, color and surface finish.
  • Experience in portfolio of physical products e.g. consumer electronics, automotive, hand tools, furniture etc.
  • Ability to work within cross functional teams in an agile/lean environment.
  • Self starter motivated by strong desire to change the world through design and is able to chart a course for them and the company in a broad, diverse and globally matrixed organization.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
