What you’ll be doing...

This position is responsible for coordinating Accounts Payable (AP) systems and staff support of AP processes in all systems utilized by AP Payment Processing team, as well as overall project management and support for large and medium size projects within AP. The position interacts with internal customers and external suppliers. Evaluate and recommend changes to AP systems, policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance automation. Work closely with Accounts Payable management/staff and other departments in support of time bound processes.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or economics.
  • Knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
  • Proven functional and analytical skills, and has the ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and make decisions that impact functional designs
  • Develop and perform user acceptance testing for enhancements
  • Well organized, detail oriented, and a self starter who has the ability to work independently or within a team environment with proven collaboration skills across functional areas
  • Act as overall AP SME (Subject Matter Expert) and SPOC (Single Point of Contact) Payment Processing
  • Coordinate, document and communicate enhancements to internal and external functional users
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge end to end financial processes and accounting fundamentals
  • Possess knowledge of Accounts Payable practices, policies and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and experience with meeting competing deadlines
  • Ability to be effective in a high volume, fast paced changing environment
  • Assist in managing customer’s expectations and perceptions relative to defined deliverables
  • Detail oriented and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent MS Project, Excel, Word and Outlook skills
  • Strong working knowledge of integrated ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or PeopleSoft
  • Ability to write and document a process
