What you’ll be doing...

Your focus will be on our Verizon Business Group’s Global Service Management Organization to help ensure the team is running smoothly and executing its strategy to the fullest. You will act as strategic partner to Finance, Business Intelligence and the Global Service Management organization. You’ll analyze current performance results, revenue, P&L, historical results, trends and anomalies. You’ll be helping us create performance dashboards that measure how well we’re doing against goals and making recommendations about what we can do better. You will analyze the service model and segmentation performance to ensure optimal customer satisfaction, reduced operating costs and increased profitability. You will develop and deliver comprehensive plans for reporting and business model improvements. You will provide leadership and consultation to influence and shape business decisions and achieve desired business outcomes. You will design, develop and implement methods and strategies to continually improve processes. Additionally, you will manage projects and initiatives that enable successful achievement of desired outcomes.


  • Building models to assess trends, productivity and performance.
  • Providing data support and insightful reporting on metrics and analytics.
  • Identifying strengths and opportunities in Key Performance Indicators.
  • Understand and analyze various drivers impacting key metrics and outcomes and provide a fact-based recommendation to the stakeholders.
  • Shaping business decisions to drive improved performance and results.
  • Translating business plans into performance goals and implement them.
  • Manage projects and initiatives to ensure achievement of business outcomes.
  • Present and communicate to all levels of the business.
  • Provide senior leadership and functional unit management with updates on project status, key metrics, issues, and risks.

You'll need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience in reporting and analytics with proven track record in driving improvement of financial results.

  • Analyzed quantitative data and written reports. Ideally, customer service experience.

  • Operational analysis and modeling knowledge.

  • High degree of accuracy in working with large amounts of data.

  • Prepared presentations and visual displays for key performance indicators.

  • Executive level communications and presentation skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Word, and Visio.

  • Experience with Google Suite.

  • Proven Experience in managing projects and programs.

Even better if you have:

  • A Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics

  • Experience in the technology and/or telecommunications industry

  • A high degree of analytical capability with the demonstrated ability to structure business case around a high-level strategic vision

  • Strong strategic skills, with the proven ability to identify and assess key points, implications and recommendations

  • An advanced understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes

  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management

  • Experience leading large and complex team projects with minimal supervision

  • Created presentations for all levels of management across the organization

  • Formulated and implemented strategies within defined time frames

  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can analyze data to make appropriate process/business decisions/recommendations and shape business strategy.
