What you’ll be doing...

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for defining services and features in the Identity portfolio. This role will be focused on the identity space – simplifying authentication, security and expressed identity (no passwords, personalized content) for the mobile. This job will require evaluating feasibility (market and technical) of the idea/service/ product. While ideation and validation are important, key responsibility of the TPM would be to execute and deliver results - define technical requirements and work with vendor/engineering on product delivery.

The TPM will be supporting product managers (commercial and technical) to recommend solutions and technical feasibility for the products. The person will be an expert on identity technologies – authentication, IAM, security etc

Finally, the ability to communicate and evangelize the products with internal and external audiences for internal buy-in and pilots is important.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Services definition, planning and design of new product features and enhancements.
  • Work with other product managers for new or existing services for evaluation and execution
  • Work with customers during product pilot discussions to help evaluate partnerships and translate their requirements to features
  • Develop a strategic understanding of competition, target markets, customers, and evolving trends for Identity
  • Work with the development teams to manage products from concept to delivery.
  • Communicate product benefits to customers, end users, and internal stakeholders
  • Develop the appropriate business case information to justify development of Services
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships at multiple levels within the company, including with engineering, marketing, sales, and services.
  • Ability to understand technical subjects/emerging technologies and their relevance to the marketplace. Ability to work closely with development teams.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical product management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Six or more years of experience working on mobile technologies/applications.
  • Understanding of identity in the internet services – personalized pages, authentication.
  • Internet technologies and business experience desired.
  • Strong exposure to user experience design and user research.
  • Ability to gather and translate market trends and feedback into successful product initiatives and revenue growth.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, including Product Owner are highly desirable
  • Ability to collaborate and interact across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
