What you’ll be doing...

This position reports to Executive Director – Network Planning directly supporting Vice President - Engineering. This role will work with leadership and key stakeholders including headquarters/area/regional staff, legal and state government affairs on behalf of the Vice President and will provide executive-level support, planning, analysis, and presentation development to ensure strategic business plans are successfully articulated and communicated at the highest levels of the company. This role manages strategic programs and projects in conjunction with internal stakeholder organizations including Corporate Communications, Human Resources Business Partnering, and Diversity & Inclusion. The right candidate will be able to create and maintain executive level presentations.


  • Provide communication and support to the markets for critical topics.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, Network leadership and executive team.
  • Act as liaison to SVP & Corporate Communications staff.
  • Partner with internal organizations including Human Resources to drive transformation through the development and implementation of a strategic culture program to ensure a high degree of employee engagement and satisfaction, including leadership of a cross-functional project team.
  • In conjunction with Human Resources Business Partner team, develop and govern leadership action plans stemming from employee pulse survey results.
  • Responsible for design & execution of a comprehensive communications plan that ensures company strategies and goals are understood at all levels.
  • Develop and manage an employee executive recognition program.
  • Responsible for the leadership of a work group and/or development of broad programs or projects in support of organizational or area strategies; communicates & translates functional/operational goals into team goals
  • Develop resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity and strategic thinking.
  • Analyze situations or data that requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Multimedia.
  • Ten or more years of technology experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience handling both internal and external business communication and building brand recognition.
  • Ability to research and create content that both engages employees and key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • High confidence level using Social Media including LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to drive business-critical initiatives to completion.
  • Ability to effectively influence beyond position and scope.
  • Experience with design & delivery of executive-level communications and successful project management.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work productively in a team environment.
  • Highly flexible, detail focused, excellent organizational skills, and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
