What you’ll be doing...

You will support the growth and development of our most important asset—our people. By delivering virtual and in-person training you will be imparting critical skills and knowledge to help them become even better. You’ll be delivering learning solutions that are engaging, fun and most importantly build those capabilities needed to enable our people to create the future.

  • Delivering programs across our broad training curriculum including sales, product and leadership training.
  • Completing and leading “train-the-trainer” certifications and supporting peer development.
  • Connecting key learning to the business priorities and desired outcomes.
  • Facilitating and using a variety of learning methodologies, media, and materials.
  • Evaluating training effectiveness and reporting outcomes to leadership.

This position can be located in any valid Verizon location

What we’re looking for...

You’ll enjoy facilitating groups and helping others to learn and be successful. You’ll be a great listener and presenter with an ability to engage a diverse audience and bring learning content to life for employees with different learning styles.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Facilitated training or used any of the following systems: PRMP, SFDC, ProQuest/Sales to Go, GCT, VPAT, Optix, and VEC.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and GSuite
  • Delivered training to adults in a professional setting.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and circumstances.
  • Experience training or selling Wireline business products and services
  • Delivered sales training to a variety of sales teams, including outside (field) Business to Business and inside sales call centers.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
