What you’ll be doing...

We are seeking a Supply Chain experienced management consultant professional with a record of achievement and progression in a leading consulting firm.

Thought leader in consumer or strategy and operations processes / practices; viewed by clients as an expert who they turn to for help and advice on their most difficult issues.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Interpret complex, ambiguous concepts and distill them for the client into narratives with business outcomes.
  • Provide examples of their ability to successfully manage multiple projects (and pivot project direction, as needed) with diverse stakeholders.
  • Managing projects to hard deadlines to completion, on time, on budget, and to the client's objectives are critical components of successful engagements.


What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in management consulting for large organizations.
  • Experience in supply chain and manufacturing industries.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or related discipline.
  • PMP, CMC, or CPA certifications.
  • APICS certification.
  • Eight or more years of experience in management consulting or combination of management consulting and internal industry experience.
  • Experience in bothleading consulting firm and a blue chip consumer goods-focused corporate environment.
  • Considered a thought leader in consumer or strategy and operations processes and practices.
  • Experience in the application of advanced manufacturing technology, including digital and big data (e.g., Smart Factory, IoT, Industry 4.0).
  • Experience in digital strategy deployment and use of automation/robotics in world-class production facilities.
  • Knowledge of issues related to production system improvement, reliability centered maintenance, and the applications of Kaizen gained from world-class lean manufacturing organizations.
  • Ability to work effectively with large amounts of complex and ambiguous quantitative data by taking a structured, hypothesis-driven approach and distilling results into effective client narratives.
  • Ability to explain and convey business vulnerabilities to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in creating engaging slide presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment with diverse stakeholders (i.e., managing projects to hard deadlines to completion, on time, on budget, and to the client’s objectives and expectations).
  • Ability to mentor junior consultants on testing techniques, tactics, and procedures.
  • Experience within the Supply Chain industry to include:
    • Knowledge of operations management including operationalizing business strategies and transforming value chain functions from product development through supply chain, manufacturing, and product support.
    • Thorough experience in Operations Strategy and Transformation, Product Innovation and Development, Supply and Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Sourcing, Service Operations, Logistics is preferred.
    • Demonstrate strong problem solving skills, feel comfortable working with large amounts of quantitative data taking a structured, and hypothesis driven approach and be able to lead consulting teams and assignments.
