What you’ll be doing...

The primary responsibilities of this position are centered on the examination, understanding and presentation of business group loyalty insights. This includes ongoing and ad hoc analysis of market conditions and performance.

As a Data Scientist, you will be a key go-to-person for all VBG products, competitive insights and positioning needs. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales leadership, operations and product management to determine the optimum positioning and differentiation strategies. You will have the ability to lead the design, development, and implementation of insights to present business group loyalty opportunities.

  • Deliver data procurement through various tools to create and communicate accurate, high-quality businesses insights on key performance indicators.
  • Work cross functionally with teams to develop growth and retention strategies.
  • Provide actionable insights, business case development, communicate performance, make recommendations for decision-making matters.
  • Partner with HQ and developing the sales/frontline communications on tools and programs focused on driving loyalty and retention

This role is highly visible and cross-functional, requiring frequent communication with sales channel management.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working successfully across channels and work groups.
  • Experience with SQL and either Python, R or SAS
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience building relationships and working as ateam player.

Even better if you have:

  • An MBA
  • Three or more years of experience in the wireless industry. Delivering results in a marketing capacity with experience in loyalty and retention, base campaigns and CRM strategy development/execution.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; with demonstrated experience building and delivering executive level presentations
  • Experience working with Marketing and Go-To-Market teams on delivering high quality training materials.
  • An unmatched passion for our customers – fully wanting to understand their needs and wants and how we can better serve them.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel.
