What you’ll be doing...

The Business Transformation organization is responsible for partnering with Field and Corporate functions in Verizon Wireless to drive experience and process improvements. To enhance our ability to deliver business optimization across Business Transformation, we are creating a Manager level role within the Journey Teams under Business Transformation with a current focus on creating best in class customer experiences that are critical to the evolution of our business.

Using the VLSS tools and methodologies for numerous large initiatives, you will transform data into insights and recommendations to improve the customer experience.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead multiple cross-functional teams charged with improving the customer and employee experiences and implementing strategic enterprise-wide efficiency-driving programs.
  • Evaluate opportunities for the creation of complex business cases/models with the VLSS tools and methodologies, as well as a thorough analysis and understanding of key drivers, assumptions, and scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Field and HQ cross-functional leaders in prioritization of initiatives as well as the development of an overall strategic initiatives roadmap for assigned channels or work streams.
  • Identify business gaps, defining process and technical solutions and developing recommendations to senior management.

You need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • Four or more years of experience as a cross functional team leader and change agent.
  • Consulting skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders through relationships, expertise and data.
  • Data management, architecture, analysis and agile development experience.
  • Knowledge of consumer, financial services, or technology sector, in multi-channel distribution.
