What you’ll be doing...

As the Sales Enablement Consultant of Sales Operations you will be responsible for state-of-the-art analytical skills and techniques, both technical and intuitive to analyze and model data and customer behaviors to influence coverage models. Responsible for implementing and measuring Sales Enablement initiatives and analyzing data to produce key performance metrics and insights to improve the effectiveness sales strategy, processes and execution. Work with large customer and prospect data sets, external data sources and other functional teams (IT, SPAA, BI) to synthesize meaningful business data to identify patterns, trends and translate those into actionable insights.

  • Reporting into the Senior Manager of INTL Sales Operations, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are supported within the organization.
  • Working with Sales Ops and Enablement Team to ensure accurate and efficient reporting of key sales metrics, including results, forecasts/quotas and KPIs, headcount and compensation calculations.
  • Assisting with internal process improvement initiatives related to budget, forecasting and compensation; working with Ops leaders to assist with revenue and budget analysis and trending reports.
  • Looking for ways to automate systems for customer coverage, improving accuracy and timing of retention and sales metrics.
  • Providing analytical recommendations on coverage productivity and design global scalable growth solution.
  • Managing and coordinating design data sets, run monthly data to support the functionally aligned coverage team.
  • Working cross functionally with other data driven departments to improve processes and data quality. Marketing, Finance, IT and HR.
  • Preparing various deliverables and adhoc requests for business partners and Executive Leadership
  • Building and deploying tools to execute against Verizon Connect Sales’ defined coverage strategy.
  • Serving as a contributor to the continuous improvement process associated to customer data.
  • Impact includes analysis and preparation of materials on go to market strategies for Verizon Connect Sales organization.
  • Providing actionable insights directly or indirectly through strategy managers or other key business partner/ leaders.
  • Developing strategies to drive revenue and share growth in targeted customer/prospect populations.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Fluency in English.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business or relevant fields.
  • Three or more years of experience with analytics beyond the academic setting (internships, consulting labs, etc.).
  • Strong strategic/innovative thinker grounded in analytics.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, SharePoint, knowledge in service application for collaboration and work management platforms.
  • Strong in project management and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing relationships with sales professionals and working in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Passion for data review and analytics creation.
  • Strong information analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to translate information requests into practical outputs.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness in work.
  • Ability to collaborate and develop relationships across multiple functional areas.
  • Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Modeling software: SAS or R - strong skills with one and at least some familiarity with the other.
  • Willingness to travel.
