What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Client Services Manager position will report into the MILDEPS Government Program Management Office in support of the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) and be located on site with the customer at Fort Bragg, NC. The scope of the position will manage a cross functional team with overall Program Management responsibility for Managed Network Services (MNS), Information Technology Service Support (ITSS), Voice Communications and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet).

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of employees and contractors located in multiple states and across several disciplines.
  • Own responsibility for all Verizon Programs supporting USARC and serve as primary customer contact.
  • Collaborate with USARC military and civilian administrative and technical staff.
  • Plan and distribute work assignments.
  • Develop employees through training, coaching & counseling.
  • Set objectives and manage the performance to meet the objectives.
  • Drives customer solutions.
  • Vendor relationship management.
  • Interfaces directly with Verizon senior leaders to properly address complex customer requests.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop strategic plans to mitigate the risk.
  • Monitor support response in regards to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and conduct periodic performance review meetings.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Telecom and/or IT Implementation experience.
  • Active Government Secret Clearance.

Even better, if you have:

  • Master degree or MBA.
  • Fifteen or more years of professional experience.
  • Ten or more years of Telecom and/or IT Implementation experience.
  • Five or more years of relevant management/supervisory experience.
  • Significant experience following Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • A working knowledge of:
    • Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN)
    • Wireless Networking
    • Service Desk Support
    • Business Intelligence (BI)
    • Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet)
