What you’ll be doing...

The design team is in need of a Product Designer to assist inall UX and interaction design activities for all touch-points in the customer journey(web, app, care, chat, packaging, etc.). This resource will be collaboratingdirectly with the rest of the design team, the product team and technical team tounderstand the scope, requirements, technical constraints as well as customerneeds to produce new features and improve upon existing experiences. Thisresource will need to produce wireframes, interaction design, informationarchitecture, prototypes, as well as assist with agile process related activities andresearch activities (i.e., usability testing and user/customer research activities).

Responsibilities:

  • Translate concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockupsand prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for the product.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces (web, app, chat, packaging, etc.).
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, andnew functions and features.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate on designs.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders (marketing, product,ops, care, tech, etc.).
  • Question everything…Take risks and champion new ideas.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of designs by collaboratinghand-in-hand with developers to ensure designed experiences are realized.
  • Tools - Be proficient in designing and utilizing Sketch, Adobe CS, and/orInVision. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, Javascript and Native appdevelopment ideal.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in UX design, with experience working with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, ops, care, tech, etc.).
  • Two to Three years of experience in responsive web design and mobile UX.
  • One to two years of experience with design thinking or human-centeredthinking/design.

Even better if you have:

  • A Degree.
  • Ability to present complex qualitative and quantitative research methodologiesto diverse audiences in an understandable and accessible format.
  • Experience with problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identifyexisting or potential problems and recommend solutions in user researchcurriculum, for a broad audience demographic.
  • Experience designing outstanding digital products for B2C environments.
  • Excellent CSS and HTML skills; understanding of HTML, JavaScript, andCSS; working knowledge of ActionScript, Adobe Suite.
  • Ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas anddesign rationale, all within a user-centered design process.
  • Experince withdesign techniques, skills, tools and procedures forthe applicable media.
  • Ability to work with highly technical teams.
  • Supports and demonstrates corporate brand knowledge.
  • Ability toAdapts well to changing priorities, deadlines and directions.
