What you’ll be doing...

We bring our wireless and internet services to customers in all kinds of ways including through partnerships with large national retailers and resellers who use our platforms to bring great service to their own customers. That’s where you come in. You’ll take a quantitative look at how effective we are at expanding our business through these channels. You’ll be looking at how many new customers we gain, revenue, customer satisfaction, and evaluate how promotions are working. You’ll make recommendations to enhance our success and the success of our channel partners.

  • Create reports to track ongoing performance in total and by channel partner.
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis to answer burning questions for our leaders and our partners.
  • Putting analysis tools and information in the hands of decision makers.
  • Creating presentations and summarizing key take-aways.
  • Developing strong trusting relationships with internal and external partners.

In addition:

  • Assist with overall VZW strategy and execution for Strategic Agent accounts (including 2 or more agents).
  • Assist with sales & marketing plans, advertising strategy, promotion development, training, merchandising execution, and mindshare at the point of sale.
  • Come up with ways to grow VZW share of activations and drive overall sales improvement by beating the competition in all facets of account management.
  • Drive key KPIs through promotions, offers, training, and advertising.
  • Provide KPI analytics and regular daily & weekly, as well as ad hoc reporting to senior leadership to identify sales opportunities.
  • Ensure compensation structure of the Agents is in alignment with driving performance results desired by VZW.
  • Improve the customer experience by evaluating processes of both VZW and Agent and execute the plan for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Agent to develop sales goals and growth initiatives that meet VZW objectives.
  • Negotiate with Agent to achieve desired strategies and tactics.
  • Leverage the assets of VZW and Retailer to create unique, differentiated offers and promotions.
  • Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to accomplish desired business objectives.
  • Support, coordinate and lead VZW field sales teams to implement national and local objectives.
  • Lead all market communication content for Agents specific initiatives and weekly updates.
  • Oversee all commissions discrepancies and drive to resolution.
  • Manage with internal and external inventory teams to ensure all inventory needs are met for assigned Agents, including Agent specific forecasts and ongoing timely updates as business needs change.
  • Act as liaison between Agent and internal merchandising teams to ensure Verizon brand is represented best in class.

It pleases you to know that the work you do guides both day-to-day and longer-term strategic decisions.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Teradata SQL.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Analyzed data, developed reports, and presentations. Ideally, made presentations to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience with SQL Server SSIS, and Adobe ColdFusion. And of course, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Managed multiple competing projects and met project objectives for timeliness and accuracy
