We’re looking for a Marketing Database Specialist to join our team. The Marketing Database Specialist will work closely with our marketing and sales operation teams to support top of funnel marketing activities to expand market reach through data acquisition, database management and hygiene, outbound lead generation, scoring, and segmentation.

Responsibilities associated with the position include:

  • Leading efforts for data acquisition and hygiene for prospect databases.
  • Providing key insights on the structure and data quality of records in the database.
  • Managing vendor relationships for data purchase and hygiene efforts.
  • Utilizing database utilities and tools including People Import, Demand Tools, and Excel.
  • Assigning lead records based on corporate strategies and objectives to increase proactive calling results from outbound leads (e.g., purchased lists).
  • Supporting all marketing automation efforts by providing data analysis, reporting, dashboards, testing, validation, and documentation.
  • Creating presentations pertaining to database growth, health, and automation advancements.
  • Collaborating with sales operations and marketing team members on ensuring alignment around data quality management between Eloqua and CRM (Salesforce).
  • Working closely with the IT department to refine processes and procedures for maintaining and enhancing the salesforce.com environment.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Three or more years of experience.
  • Three or more years in business-to-business (B2B) data analytics or database management.
  • Systems analysis experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Detail orientation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems creatively.
  • Experience with reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience working with and managing external stakeholders and vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside of the organization.
  • Advanced skills and experience with Salesforce.com, Excel, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently under tight deadlines with members located in offices worldwide.
