What you’ll be doing...

You will explore what our people need to learn to be even better. Your programs and learning approaches will align with our business needs and be highly effective and in tune with our culture. You’ll consult with stakeholders and deliver learning solutions that are engaging, fun and most importantly build those capabilities needed to enable our people to create the Verizon of the future.

  • Collaborate on creating innovative learning solutions with design and
    development teams as well as stakeholders.
  • Resource learning initiatives with internal and external training
    experts.
  • Performance consult by identifying business needs, their cause(s) and
    the training strategy to meet business goals.
  • Facilitate strategic programs across our broad training curriculum
    including sales, services, products, technology, and leadership training.
  • Connect key learning to the business priorities and desired outcomes.
  • Facilitate using a variety of learning methodologies, media, and
    materials.
  • Evaluate learning and development effectiveness and report outcomes
    to leadership.
  • Identify and collaborate with subject matter expertise as necessary.
  • Engage with internal clients for needs analysis, performance
    consulting, and strategic planning.
  • Leverage project management principles to execute on learning
    initiatives.
  • Ability to sit out of any corporate hub.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge in design and delivery of employee training.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs
    and circumstances.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training approaches.
  • Consulted on performance with business clients.
  • Managed projects effectively balancing timeliness and quality.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestic and international.
